Foam performance depends not just on formulation, but on how consistently that formulation is executed.

Without tight process control, density, firmness, recovery, and other performance characteristics can vary from one production run to the next.

This matters for both **standard and custom viscoelastic foams**. Standard formulations need consistent manufacturing to deliver predictable performance across applications. Custom viscoelastic foams require even greater control to ensure the properties engineered for a specific application are maintained during production.

Statistical process control helps identify and reduce manufacturing variation. By monitoring critical variables throughout production, manufacturers can maintain tighter tolerances and produce foam with more consistent physical and performance characteristics.

Reliable foam comes from disciplined manufacturing, not just good chemistry.

When formulation, process control, and application requirements work together, foam performance becomes more predictable—from initial testing through full-scale production.
